Support a human purpose

Help us build a place where loneliness meets a human response.

We believe being heard should not depend on having the right family, the right circle of friends, the right language, or the confidence to speak face to face. Your support helps us keep building a respectful space where adults can talk, ask, share and feel less alone.

Our vision

A future where fewer people have to carry loneliness in silence.

The Chemistry of Love began as a space for honest questions about relationships and human connection. Our longer-term vision is broader: to grow a trustworthy, human-centered project that helps people find words, connection and companionship when life feels isolating.

We want to make room for people who are often overlooked, including older adults who may spend long periods without meaningful conversation, women who need spaces where their experiences are treated with dignity, and adults who simply do not have someone they feel safe talking to.

In the future, we hope to develop human listening calls, stronger community partnerships and practical programs that support connection, dignity and women's empowerment. Those are future goals, not services we are claiming to provide today.

Our mission

Listen first. Respect the person. Build something useful.

Reduce loneliness

Create more opportunities for people to speak honestly and feel less isolated.

Support older people

Work toward future listening initiatives that give elderly people more chances for real conversation and human connection.

Empower women

Build respectful resources and future partnerships that support women's voice, dignity, confidence and participation.

Why support matters

Sometimes the most helpful thing is not another answer. It is another person who stays long enough to listen.

Someone may be living alone after losing a partner. Someone may be caring for family and have nobody asking how they are doing. Someone may be afraid to discuss a relationship problem because their culture, family or community makes the subject difficult. Someone may simply be lonely and embarrassed to admit it.

We cannot promise to solve those lives. We can build better places for people to speak, learn and connect. Support helps make that work possible.

A thought worth carrying

“We live by each other and for each other. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan Macy, from a script for their vaudeville appearances. Source: American Foundation for the Blind.

That idea fits the spirit of this project: meaningful connection is rarely built by one person alone.

Where support goes

Help us keep the work human.

  • Maintain the private Talk infrastructure and improve its privacy-conscious design.
  • Keep educational relationship and human-connection resources available.
  • Develop future listening initiatives, including the possibility of phone-based listening.
  • Explore partnerships and projects that support older adults and women's empowerment.
  • Improve accessibility so people can participate comfortably across languages and different backgrounds.
